Phnom Penh

Accommodation

I stayed in the Asia Hotel on Monivong Boulevard for about $US20 in September 2005. Not a bad place to stay for such a cheap price. It is a reasonably large tourist hotel, although a bit lower in quality than most other 3 star hotels in South East Asia. Rooms were good size, and bathrooms fine. It is a $US1-2 tuk-tuk ride to the river front where you can find a range of restaurants. Monivong Boulevard looks like a main street, with plenty of shops and Western restaurants (e.g. fast food) within walking distance of the hotel.
