- Example calculations of delay, overhead and throughput (PDF)
- Example of traffic types (PDF)
- Protocol stack diagram (PDF) illustrated the main concepts, mechanisms, technologies and protocols we cover in the course.
Although it does not cover everything in the course, it will be useful as a reminder when you are studying for the exams.

- Instructions for demonstrating the effect of delay and jitter on streaming video. This is the steps I used at the start of a lecture - you can try it on your own computer.
- Delay Applet from Kurose that demonstrates transmission and propagation delays
- See my Study Guide for
links to standards organisations - you should be aware of their
abbreviations and what they do, because you will come across them
in this and other courses many times.

- Thai Frequency Allocation Table - links to a 200 page PDF containing the allocation of spectrum to services in Thailand. On the same web site there is supposed to be a summary frequency allocation chart (similar to US below) but it doesn't work for me. If someone knows of a summary chart for Thailand, then please contact me.
- US Frequency Allocation Chart - a detailed diagram showing the allocation of spectrum to different services (radio, TV, maritime, etc.) in the United States.
