Driving to Yasothon Date: 31/12/2008 It is 9:41am (we left at 5am) and we're travelling at about 10kph. This was slower than average, which was about 20kph for the first 100km. Normally it would take about 1 hour to drive from Pathumthani to Saraburi - today it took 5 hours. A slow start to a day of driving that eventually totaled 13 hours.

Steve in Hospital in Yasothon Date: 18/01/2009 After some great good, including Laap Bplaa, Som Tam Bpuu Bpalaa and Moo Yaw, and some whiskey on New Years night, I ended up in hospital on January 2 with a bad case of diarrhea. I spent the night there, which was a good idea because the next day I made the 13 hour drive back to Bangkok!
